'Chalet Cook / Driver’
SnowChateaux is an owner-run ski chalet company operating in the snow-sure ski resort of Les Arcs. Offering traditional chalets with modern facilities, in a 17th century ski village in the middle of the worlds largest linked ski area - Paradsiki. Only 150 metres from the lift, there is a sauna, wifi, games room etc.
A varied role which mostly depends on the week of the season, and could include any of the following:
1) Running our Chalet Les Arcs, 3 bedroom catered chalet
2) Some driving of guests to the airport / train station / other driving duties
3) Clean chalet on changeover day
4) Meet & greet self catered guests on changeover day
5) Cover for chalet staff that may fall ill
6) General duties (Laundry drop off and pick up / drive chalet hosts to supermarket / DIY & maintenance / errands)
Also we need commitment to quality and customer care. In return we truly value our team members and their time with us. We, like you, understand that you are the frontline representatives of our business, on a daily basis.
Primary responsibilities will be a great attitude whilst serving food, cleaning bedrooms and the chalet in general, sometimes taking guests on the mountain, offering great hospitality, service and assistance to ensure their holiday is memorable for all the right reasons.
* We need a hands-on approach to every aspect of the work.
* Sometimes you will be preparing and serving for 6 to 9 people, a full cooked (6 weeks of season) and continental breakfast (all weeks), afternoon tea, and a 3 course evening meal. Cleaning of bedrooms and communal areas is ongoing.
* You will be asked to undertake the chalet food shopping & accounting for chalet expenditure.

REQUIREMENTS:
* You must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused and self motivated.
* Culinary skills showing flair and consistency.
* All applicants must have prior driving experience of minibus driving (preferably on the continent and in winter conditions)
* All applicants must have full UK NI Number, UK bank account and Passport.
