Job Title: Commis Chef Travelbound

Looking to use your catering skills somewhere a little different? Part of the TUI Travel Group, TravelBound is a tour operator specialising in group travel for schools and adults. As well as an extensive worldwide hotel program, TravelBound operate a Chateau in Normandy, North/West France. The Chateau is situated in 38 acres of land and is located near the village of Molay Littry. The Chateau has 40 bedrooms (can sleep up to 200 people) with meeting rooms, library, games room, lounge area and bar. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool (open from May), tennis court, football and rugby pitch.  The grounds of the Chateau are also used for adventure activities such as fencing and archery.
 

As a Commis Chef, you will be a key player in maintaining food production to the highest standard ensuring our guest's expectations are met and exceeded.  Working with a small and friendly brigade, your duties will include presentation and supervision of all meals including breakfast, buffets, lunches and evening meals.  Just as important you will monitor stock controlling systems and safety practices as well as ensuring hygiene is of the highest standard at all times. 

  
 

You will ideally hold a City and Guilds, NVQ or BTEC in catering and/or have proven experience in catering.  You'll also be a team player and exceptional when it comes to preparing/designing meals for our group, above all you'll be passionate about food and have a flexible work approach.
